Edward Wales

Ed Wales is the Chief Commercial Officer of Forge Europe. Forge is a marketplace that facilitates secondary trading in shares of VC-backed private companies. Having been active in the US for 12+ years, Forge are now partnering with Deutsche Börse (the German stock exchange) to expand further in Europe. They’ve traded over $13bn of private capital, of which $600m+ has been in European companies.

Prior to Forge, Ed worked at Hambro Perks, a leading technology-focused VC & PE investment firm. Before that, he was a public equities technology specialist, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Berenberg. Ed holds an M.B.A. from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
