By subscribing or being invited, you agree to the following terms:

1. Admission

Membership is subject to approval at Nord Sloane Ltd’s discretion and is non-transferable. Admission does not create any partnership, agency, fiduciary, or joint venture relationship.

2. Term & Fees

Membership is valid for the period communicated upon acceptance. Fees, if applicable, are payable in advance. Fees are non-refundable except at Nord Sloane Ltd’s discretion. VAT or other applicable taxes may apply.

3. Nature of Membership

Membership provides access to curated insight, briefings, introductions, and events within the Defence, Security & Resilience (DSR) sector. Nord Sloane Ltd does not provide regulated investment, financial, or legal advice. Members remain solely responsible for their own decisions, compliance, and due diligence.

 

4. Introductions & Events

Introductions and event participation are discretionary and consent-based. Nord Sloane Ltd does not guarantee meetings, transactions, or commercial outcomes. Programs and speakers may change; admission may be refused or revoked to protect network integrity.

 

5. Compliance & Sanctions

Members warrant that they are not subject to applicable sanctions and are not acting on behalf of restricted persons or entities. Members must comply with all relevant export control, national security, sanctions, and anti-money laundering laws. Nord Sloane Ltd may conduct internal screening for governance and compliance and may suspend or terminate membership where concerns arise.

 

6. Due Diligence

Screening by Nord Sloane Ltd is for internal purposes only and does not constitute endorsement or verification. Members are solely responsible for independent due diligence before engaging with other members. Nord Sloane Ltd accepts no responsibility for actions or representations of members.

 

7. Conduct

Members must act professionally, respect confidentiality, and avoid misuse of network access, including unsolicited mass outreach. Misconduct may result in suspension or termination.

 

8. Commercial Terms

• Membership may include access to briefings, discounted or complimentary events, and promotional opportunities, all at Nord Sloane Ltd’s discretion.

• Membership does not confer rights to revenue sharing, investment opportunities, or commercial returns.

• Use of Nord Sloane Ventures branding or references in public materials requires prior written approval.

• Intellectual property of all content, events, and materials provided remains with Nord Sloane Ltd.

• Any promotional, sponsorship, or speaking activity must comply with Nord Sloane guidelines and applicable law.

 

9. Cancellation & Termination

Membership may be suspended or terminated at Nord Sloane Ltd’s discretion. A pro-rata refund for any paid portion may be issued at Nord Sloane Ltd’s discretion, except in cases of misconduct or breach.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nord Sloane Ltd is not liable for indirect, consequential, reputational, or commercial losses arising from participation. Total liability shall not exceed any paid portion of the membership, if applicable.

 

11. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Compliance screening is limited to what is reasonably necessary for governance and risk management.

 

12. Force Majeure

Nord Sloane Ltd is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
